21st century leaders operate in a volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous business world – the so called VUCA world.
Being able to navigate, interpret and make sense of the VUCA world is crucial to the success of individual leaders, organisations and societies.
In July, DeakinCo. hosted a fishbowl event that explored the hallmarks of individual and organisational leadership in a VUCA world, drawing on current business practice.
The panelists discussed how as a leader you can hone these qualities to continuously improve, change and succeed.
The panelists included:
Professor Amanda Pyman, Head of Department, Management – Deakin Business School
Dr Marcele De Sanctis, CEO, Organisational Psychologist – Centre for Leadership Advantage
Chris Styring, Head of Leadership and Talent – Fluor
Marisa Cursio, Learning Producer, Global Learning – Telstra
