DeakinCo. manages Deakin University’s registered training organisation (RTO 3752) in compliance with the standards set out in the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011 (Cwlth) and the VET Quality Framework.

Entry into Vocational accredited training
Entry into vocational accredited training via DeakinCo (Deakin University RTO 3752) is subject to the following entry requirements by qualification. Prospective learners will be required to complete a Pre-Training review, and may be required to undertake a Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment.

\ ACSF LLN level 3
BSB50420 Diploma in Leadership and Management
\ ACSF LLN level 3
\ Read and write English and display numeracy to at least Year 12 equivalency
22443VIC Graduate Certificate in Management
\ ACSF LLN level 4
\ Read and write English and display numeracy to at least Year 12 equivalency or
\ Hold an Australian Diploma which is ACFS level 5 or a higher qualification
BSB80320 Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership
Participants who wish to undertake this qualification will be required to undertake a LLN test and achieve an AQF level 4 as well as meeting the following entry requirements as specified in the qualification – training.gov.au
\ Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification in related fields of study and 3 years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise.

\ Have completed a bachelor’s degree in related fields of study and 2 years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience at a significant level of leadership and management responsibility and/or complexity in an enterprise.

PTR: Pre-Training Review
The DeakinCo. Pre-Training Review and Participant Enrolment policy is designed to ensure that all applicants seeking entry into a nationally accredited course with DeakinCo. have the appropriate level of foundation/Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills in order to determine that the course is at the appropriate level for the participant, and to ensure the participant is able to achieve the competencies of the vocational course.
